We understand that you maybe anxious about your first visit to a new dentist. We can make a difference by providing a relaxing and positive experience no matter how long it has been since your last dental visit.
Your first visit is usually about an hour and a half long when Dr. Schmorr and her team will perform a comprehensive exam to determine your dental needs. The comprehensive exam will include a complete review of your dental and medical history, any needed dental radiographs/x-rays (panoramic and bitewings), and a detailed oral exam and oral cancer screening.
Your first visit will also usually include a dental cleaning (prophylaxis) but if it has been a while since your last check-up, we may reschedule you for a longer appointment.
At this visit, we will also review any current dental concerns you may have and address any dental treatment you may need. After reviewing your oral health, Dr. Schmorr will present you with detailed treatment options based on her findings. Dr. Schmorr and her team will help answer any questions you may have about your oral health and are always available for any concerns you may have in the future.
Remember, our goal is to take care of your dental concerns and providing you with excellent, personalized care. We look forward to seeing you!
